International Cooperation “Open to the World”
Horizon 2020 is open to the world. This means that researchers from all over the world, including from Taiwan, can participate in most of the calls of Horizon 2020.
Although researchers from Taiwan are generally not eligible for EU funding, Taiwan supports and encourages Horizon 2020 research collaboration and has funding programs to cover participation costs.
National Applied Research Laboratories, under Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology, is the National Contact Point for Horizon 2020 in Taiwan.
NCP Taiwan provides information and training on how to participate in Horizon 2020 and seeks to increase the participation of Taiwan-based academia and organizations in Horizon 2020.
